Well, in seriousness, I think that the leverage that they have is more the ability to call in debts and not extend further credit to the trump foundation, probably the only family he actually cares about. Were I Putin, I’d not go after the actual actors in the administration, but rather the “innocents”, as that makes much more of a mark. We forget about Tiffany, because the media doesn’t like to talk about non-political family members, but Russia does not have that restriction. It’d suck if she came down with a case of polonium poisoning, especially so, as it would be in the administration’s best interest to absolutely hide and deny the reason for her terminal condition. ---

This is in response to the idea that they may assassinate trump himself, which would certainly be an act of war, as well. I do agree with the less violent approaches of containing trump being more likely. They’ve had him dancing at the end of their strings for over a decade in exchange for these sweetheart loan deals that keep his company afloat. ---
