This whole barbed/concertina wire is pure theater. The few remaining migrants who might arrive at the border in a few weeks are simply going to present themselves at a border crossing and request asylum. AS THEY HAVE DONE EVERY TIME IN THE PAST! The shitgibbon and his enablers are promoting a vision of WWII assaults with people throwing their bodies across the wire and the children running over their backs to freedom. While carrying suicide bombs, infectious diseases, Korans, drugs, and lest we forget, ROCKS:eek: Another hundred million dollars down the drain while Mattis and Kelly delude themselves that they’re keeping the Big Baby in check. ---

They made it unacceptable to request asylum at the points of entry, then they removed an existing policy by which it was ok to request asylum after entering the country (which could even have been done legally, student visas and day shopping trips and tourism are legal!), so when people did ask for asylum, the grown-ups got put in a warehouse and the kids in a cage, the first to wait for deportation and the second for adoption. The current administration has recovered every knowin instance of government-stolen children and made it televised policy. ---

Yep, they’re normalizing government thuggery, in violation of standing law. We are frogs getting boiled slowly. But they’re starting to turn up the heat now. Most people just don’t seem to understand how this will impact them eventually. Once the rule of law gets chipped away, that affects everyone, whether you’re a middle class white guy in the suburbs or a migrant asylum seeker at the border. ---

Posse Comitatus Act covers the use of the Army and Air Force for situations and emergencies within US Borders.
