I rather imagine that there are any number of well-armed men down around the brown-people border who would jump at the chance to protect their [DEL]führer[/DEL] hero. And since they wouldn’t be bound by Secret Service protocols, they’d be _even better_ at protecting him than what he’s getting now. Nosiree bob, they’ll make sure no suspicious-looking person gets anywhere near him! ---

Rather than shut down the USA government over a 5,000,000,000 dollar wall along the US Mexico border, why not just build a 50,000 wall around Mar-a-Largo and call it a day? ---

The Rupert Murdoch-owned Wall Street Journal has finally turned on Trump. I think this signals the beginning of the end of his support. It seems that, contrary to some of my most dire predictions, Mueller’s investigation will been seen to the end. But even at this very late stage in the Mueller investigation, there’s still quite obviously very serious discussions within the administration about politicizing the Department of Justice. It’s clear that Matt Whitaker isn’t going to recuse himself from the investigation, despite being basically told that his involvement would represent an ethical conflict of interests. It’s further clear that William Barr isn’t a fan of Mueller’s investigation either. While it might be too late to stop Mueller’s fact finding mission, it might not be too late to politicize the DoJ and undermine the rule of law. We can only hope that whatever is released in the report is devastating to Trump and his GOP enablers. ---
