I think we’ve crossed into a whole new level. As the story unfolds, it seems that Mueller has corroborating testimony and other evidence to confirm that Donald indeed suborned perjury. This SHOULD be game-set-match-championship. The rest of the investigation should continue, but in terms of impeachment, this is more than sufficient. But unfortunately, Senate Republicans are quite likely to put party above country and indeed party above the law. But they need to be on the record for doing so. Time to impeach. ---

If you look at other news pieces from the authors of the latest Cohen/Trump Tower article, they seem to have been way out in front of other journalists on that subject. They break it and the Times/Post or a Court filing comes along and confirms much later. ---

I suspect that it’s going to become extremely difficult to find any Republicans to interview on the this subject over the next few weeks, except maybe for Lindsey Graham, who surfaces long enough to mouth some platitudes about how the President’s conduct is “regrettable” but that we must not rush to judgement before all the facts are in. Which I’m fine with. Kicking Trump’s fat, sorry ass out by summer is good enough. ---
