Does it matter one iota who ordered the dossier or why, if the facts in it are verifiable and criminal ? (This is a rhetorical question. I know it doesn’t. Pound the facts, pound the table, etc…) ---

When Trump assumed office, I was hoping that exposure to what goes on behind the scenes would properly educate him. I thought he’d see that his predecessor had struggled with all sorts of mitigating factors before making a decision, and he’d see that Washington insiders weren’t the same as local struggling NY businessmen he could bulldoze. I thought he’d see that “Gosh, maybe the reason I can’t get any congressional support is because they’re concerned about their own agendas, and that’s going to involve some constructive dealmaking on my part.” I thought he’d realize there was a lot more to running the country than he realized. Nope. None of that ever happened. He got stupider. Despite having enough resources to know everything there is to know, he ignores it all and sticks with whatever he thinks at the moment is true. ---
