Otherwise, the best option would be that aliens fly down out of the sky with a time machine, turn back the clock, and convince Alexander Hamilton and James Madison that they need to add some amendments to the Constitution that protect the electoral college from political interference, that a non-partisan organization be set up to draw electoral districts, and that a Condorcet election mechanism be used to elect Senators. Or, going back a ways more, that Jesus would have laid out some strict rules for government setup that’s better than Madison and the team came up with and mandated that all of Earth start using it. ---

As far as lying goes, Trump claimed he had never met the woman when there was a photo of them talking at some gathering back in the '90s, or whenever, that was already published when he claimed that. I’m watching _The Daily Show_ and Trevor Noah commented about Pence supporting the Iranian air strikes at first, along with Bolton and Pompeo, but then supported Trump’s cancellation of them: [paraphrase] “I never would have thought Mike Pence swings both ways.” ---
