Massive cruise missile attack against Syria, mother of all bombs dropped in Afghanistan, test of B61 nuclear bomb delivery system. It appears that these are calculated messages aimed at the DPRK. ---

I agree but also, Trump has finally realised the only thing he can do unilaterally with no congress agreement is military action so he’s playing with his new toys. Deity save us all. ---

I was being sarcastic at **The Librarian’s** silly scolding of **Biffster.** The suggestion that everybody should cease all their ordinary activities because of some looming crisis is ridiculous. And no, the “whole of humanity” isn’t circling the drain. I expect we’re in for some ugly times ahead, I but I grew up in the 60s when global annihilation seemed possible. I wouldn’t want to be living in Seoul right now, though.
