He will be remembered for more than that. When Nixon quit and Ford took over, the entire country breathed a sigh of relief. The man who had stained the office was gone, and all of his criminal associates with him. There was finally a decent man in the Oval Office. Thump has stained, sullied, and disgraced the office far more than Nixon ever did. And he does it every day, several times a day. For those who are too young to remember when decency reclaimed the White House, I only hope history will soon repeat itself, and then you’ll know what that feels like. ---

That being said, Trump/McCarthy need to deliver at least 50% of the GOP House votes, and Pelosi can top it off with safe Democrats. And McConnell can do it all on his own in the Senate. ---
