Oh, but it had one goal. The same as Pride: to tell people belonging to the target group that they are not alone, that being them is not a weakness or a defect or some form of madness, that they’re worth celebrating and listening to. And to those who would demeant people in that target group, a big, big, middle finger. Goals don’t necessarily have to be military objectives. ---

Not the Administration, but still. Trump spoke to the numbskulls at Turning Point USA and they somehow managed to use a parody presidential seal [with the Russian eagle and a set of golf clubs in one claw](https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-speech-in-front-of-presidential-seal-with-russian-eagle-2019-7?r=US&IR=T&utm_content=buffercf341&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-bi) as the backdrop. Still no word on whether it was incompetence or sabotage, but since they didn’t immediately blame a hired AV company I lean towards the former. ---
