Brooks’s columns have been batshit crazy for the past couple of years, heavy on the philosophic and theological ruminations, as if anyone cared about his opinions on such matters. In yesterday’s column, he awarded “grades” to the Boomers on various criteria such as “social causes” and “the fine arts” — I couldn’t bring myself to read it. I will never feel sorry for him. In addition to being a general shithead, he dumped his wife and married his much younger employee like a common Gingrich. ---
