Thanks to the whacky climate changes our farmers around here couldn’t get their crops in on time - they might not have minimal quantities of harvest, much less surplus. In fact, some farmers just gave up on this summer and left their fields fallow. But I’d be shocked if Trump was aware of this. ---

He probably doesn’t give a shit about these people, but vintners are already growing vines in places which would have been unthinkable 20 years ago and buying land further upslope; since the vines take years to mature, you need to plant them ahead of when you expect to actually be able to use the grapes. Also, grapes in traditional locations are not sugary enough to produce the desired graduation because they’re ripening too fast: more than a month before they should. A lot of “this isn’t really their time!” vegetables are from the other side of the world or from greenhouses, but a lot is simply ripening or growing faster than it should. ---

I can see it now! The atomic bomb, dropped in the hurricane’s eye way out in the Atlantic. BOOM! the hurricane’s power is increased _exponentiall_y (really, a whole bunch!), plus it sucks up all the sharks for about fifty miles around! Then the hurricane times one hundred is full of radioactive sharks, spinning around and getting _really_ pissed off, and it slams into southern Florida…say, at some very famous resort!.. It writes itself! ---

Trump’s already planning for the next G7 summit. Not the people or issues; those will be handled by aides. But he’s directly involved in choosing the venue. The front runner is the Trump National Doral golf resort in Miami. It hasn’t been officially chosen but Trump has said, “We haven’t had anything that could even come close to competing with it, especially when you look at the [del]money I’ll make[/del] location.” ---

Probably trump is lying about the call. But it does look like China is signaling that they don’t want escalation. The G7 should have a group photo shoot of the leaders. If they place Trump at the side of the group and also stand in front of him, he’ll quit in a huff, leaving the adults to work out issues with China.
