One line from Trump’s speech to the UN mission staff last week got my attention (with my bolding): > [@President Stable Genius](#): > > So the whistleblower came out and said nothing. We used to handle them a little differently than we do now.” There are so many things in this speech that give me the chills, but I gotta ask: Did the President just declare war on the people that disagree with him? ---

He’s been doing that for quite a while now. The press is the enemy. Fucking enemy. The man is a psycho. It works, too. Now the whistleblower’s lawyers are concerned about his safety. That does have an effect on the likelihood of future whistleblowers to be willing to say something. ---

This one doesn’t seem to be illegal so much as pathetic, desperately attempting to find something to discredit Mueller. And trying to justify it by saying they just want to find out about election interference in the last election. How many people not wearing a MAGA hat are going to believe that? ---
