I saw a headline on Twitter - a link to a RawStory\* feed - that KellyAnn Conway is being considered as the next Chief of Staff in the wake of Mulvaney’s “quid pro quo disaster.” Good thing anonymous authors don’t have to do book tours. Especially in anything larger than a sedan. ---

My wife and I stayed at the Millennium UN Plaza during our honeymoon when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was staying there (in fact, the same week when he gave [this speech](https://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/24/world/24nations.html)) and the only visible security was _inside_ the hotel (we had to pass through metal detectors and bag scanners every time we entered the lobby, which was a bit annoying for two smokers). ---

So such a president could not only not be charged but couldn’t even be contained to protect the public? That’s what I take away from that interpretation. Which is ridiculous on its face. ---
