Because there was so much other crap going on this week - I missed this: [HUD decided not to distribute relief funds to Puerto Rico](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/hud-officials-knowingly-failed-comply-law-stalled-puerto-rico-hurricane-n1068761). They did what they were supposed to do with the other 17 states that were getting relief funds - just not PR. Because… they had a choice to do something not blatantly in defiance of Congress, the Constitution, and separation of powers and decided that it wasn’t on brand? I don’t know. There are multiple, multiple things about this that piss me off, among them is that I can’t seem to find this story in any of the major Florida newspapers. ---

Ties are almost mandatory, so most every guy in a suit wears a tie (or a bow-tie for penguin events) and it’s a fashion statement to sport anything else. With regard to AG Barr’s “Investigate the Investigators” crusade – what are the worst case scenarios? Either he finds something substantial, or he doesn’t. If he finds something substantial, what could it plausibly be? If he doesn’t – let’s assume that issuing a statement exonerating the brave men and women of the FBI and praising Mueller is not likely. So what mischief could happen? ---
