Trump had probably never heard of Andrew Jackson until Bannon brought him up. Maybe he thought the “Civil” part of Civil War meant it was some kind of a domestic disturbance. If Bannon’s his only source of American history, Bannon probably left out all the slavery stuff. Trump just relies on generic rhetoric to fake his way through shit and becomes all indignant and surprised when somebody dares to fact check. Wonder if anybody’s suggested watering the crops with Gatorade? ---
