I have disabled display of sigs, and also of avatars. To me every post is a plain grey box. You and I live in different uUuUuUuniveEeEeEerses, woOoOoOoO- -oh, wait, October’s over. Never mind. ---

I was on one board for a while where half the posters were in the habit of larding up their sig lines with two or three embedded videos. After a while, even the wittiest of sig quips becomes annoying, and it is a massive relief not to be scrolling through any of that papage. ---

I can’t stand signatures, and always have them turned off. That’s why Shodan’s stupid signature is all the more irritating. ---
