I watched some. After a few minutes, I kinda lost track of what he was saying, I was hypno-toaded in rapt attention by how they could sit there, motionless, and keep their faces fixed in an expression of fascination and approval. And they did that for like fifty minutes! I would pay a lot to see a video of them right after they think the camera has shut off. ---

I feel like the woman in the center (no idea of her name) is almost–but not quite–masking her disgust for President Stable Genius. Perhaps I’m projecting my own thoughts, but I’m reading some genuine dislike on her face. Brian Kilmeade gets a WTF look from time to time that makes me think he’s not as dumb as he looks. Only Steve Douchy seems to maintain a good enough poker face, even when he tries to interject some reality into the conversation. ---

I find it hard to believe that Trump would tolerate open defiance. In a way, open defiance of CiC isn’t good, but what’s worse is the insanity of the CiC. ---

I still remember carefully explaining to a friend, back in mumblemumble, that voting for someone because “he’s a man of action!” and “he’s strong!” isn’t a good idea unless you think the actions he takes and the way he exercises that strength are correct. He wasn’t convinced. To a lot of people, boisterous blunder is the very essence of authority, noise and speed are what marks “decisiveness”, and “decisiveness” equals leadership; they’re always and forever surprised when the brake-less 18-wheeler runs into their living room.
