So we began the week with Trump still in Democratic Hoax mode; then Wednesday, we had the botched teleprompter reading, mumbling about “foreign viruses” and stopping air travel for some Europeans. Then on Friday we’re in national emergency. At some point we’re going to get an insider account of how Trump was dragged kicking and screaming across the finish line. It’ll be fascinating. It should come out next week. ---

I was wondering how Trump’s allies would be reacting, since everyone who was yelling “Democratic hoax” last week has been left bare-assed exposed. So I watched a few minutes of Hannity. Totally in line with Trump’s decisive leadership, he presented a rat-tat-tat timeline of the crisis with dates and actions: Dec 2019 - virus identified. Feb 2, 2020: public health emergency declared. Feb 15, 2020: air travel from China suspended. Yada yada. Conveniently leaving out everything Trump actually said on the subject. He then pivoted to how 100,000 people died of H1N1 due to the botched response by the Obama-Biden administration. There always has to be a way to blame Obama. ---

Well I started a thread about catch phrases in movies and TV shows that we quote. And I was going to post the following rant there but thought it was too extreme so I am writing it in the pit. The movie is Planes, Trains and Automobiles and the rant is about the fucking…fuck… how to describe the fucking fuck? I am fucking pissed about our fucking President who keeps doing and saying fucking stupid fucking things and I have never wished anyone to fucking die except maybe fucking Osama fucking bin Laden but I wish this fucking excuse for a fucking human being would at least fucking go the fuck away and in a just fucking world would spend his fucking last years in a fucking jail being fucked by fucking Sean Hannity while sucking Kellly Anne’s fucking strap-on fucking dick. And that is too good for this fucking fuck. ---
