On the [nuclear](https://www.dictionary.com/browse/nuclear?s=t) pronunciation, [Dictionary.com](http://Dictionary.com) seems to agree both pronunciations are acceptable. For [Saddam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_(name)), it sounds to me like “SUH-dahm”. Any actual Arabic speaker want to weigh in on that one? But that bit about the damn diry lying sack of dung’s pronunciation of China. Only an absolutely clueless fool would not realize that making that comment to that reporter would be nothing other than racist. But, hey, he got a twofer: the damn dirty lying sack of dung is an absolutely clueless fool, and he is a racist. ---

Paul Manafort has been released because coronavirus in prisons. Although from what I read, there are no cases of coronavirus in the prison he was in. But also, if things are going so well that we should reopen the country, then what’s the fear about his prison? ---

Wife works in medical research. I’m currently watching a web panel discussion over her shoulder of a variety of 5 experts discussing the status of monitoring and testing. It’s now transitioning to reopening. This is what the public needs to see. Unbiased experts discussing the situation from a purely scientific perspective, for an audience of scientists. Instead, we get a parade of propagandists. Bless Fauci, but he still has to walk a fine line. So on one side, we have what I’m watching now. On the other, we got Murka flag guns freedumz. We’re doomed. ---
