As for mail-in voting, Hawaii has already announced there will be NO traditional polling places this year. Mail-in only. I received a mailing from the voter registrar’s office recently, asking me to update my signature. I mailed it back to them. ---

The President or a governor can “declare” houses of worship open all they want, but they can’t compel the congregations to meet in them in close proximity to each other. As I’ve pointed out in another thread, in my area many religious groups were moving to on-line gatherings even before we were locked down. ---

You have to be a pretty serious loser in life if the biggest things you can claim credit for are things that were accomplished by people who looked vaguely like you. ---

That includes also sports and concerts and religious gatherings. Funerals too. My Wife’s brother died 5 weeks ago (not COVID related, but unexpected). It’s rough on her to not to travel to see family. We’ll have a get together maybe next summer and celebrate his life. Flexibility is key in everything you do. Everything. We’ll get it figured out. Driving deeper into a flooded road is rarely a good solution. If Trump is at the wheel. I’m gonna do my very best to take the keys from him. That child needs a McDonalds and a nap. ---
