[Trump is suing to stop publication of Bolton’s book.](https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/16/politics/john-bolton-book-trump-administration-lawsuit/index.html) Since it’s already bound and sitting in warehouses, it will undoubtedly leak anyway. And apparently there is a process for ensuring that books from White House insiders don’t leak secrets. Barr says he “doesn’t know” if Bolton’s book has completed that process, which I interpret to mean that it has but Trump doesn’t care. ---

It’s a pattern; Republican gets in office and fucks up the economy and the functioning of government. Democrat gets in and fixes economy and government. Republican gets in and fucks things up even more. Rinse and repeat. The thing is, the Republicans are not hiding what they intend to do. They tell us that they INTEND to fuck up the functioning of government. They WANT to break it. They tell us this before an election. Why is anyone surprised when they do exactly what they say they will do? It really does come down to the meme; “I never thought the leopards would eat MY face, says person who voted for Leopards Eating Your Face Party”. ---
