Even if he could nominate a new Supreme Court Justice, the Senate wouldn’t be able to confirm the nominee because it’s so close to an election and they would have to wait until after the election was over, right? RIGHT??!! ---

They already have filled dozens of judicial seats with conservative judges, often picking people who are relatively young. It helps that they deliberately refused to confirm judicial nominees proposed during the Obama administration. In short, they’re trying to stack the federal courts as much as they can. ---
