EPA [rejects calls to ban the use of chlorpyrifos](https://thinkprogress.org/attorneys-general-environ-groups-epa-chlorpyrifos-5fbc929899db), an insecticide linked to human health issues. Under **EPA administer Scott Pruitt** , the agency claimed that “the science addressing neurodevelopmental effects remains unresolved.” The EPA also said continued use of the pesticide would provide “ **regulatory certainty** ” for thousands of farms reliant on the pesticide for their food crops. If Pruitt is so sure that the insecticde chlorpyrifos is safe, he should drink one undiluted ounce every morning after he awakes. Then, after a month, we can check to see if his dick fell off. ---

The government essentially hands out money to the poor, then takes it back from the stores. So that fucks the middleman, who obviously then either ups their own prices to cover the new tax or simply refuses to accept food stamps anymore and the poor are… right where they started, deep in the hole. Also everyone who _isn’t_ on food stamps gets fucked by the eventual price hike. Who does that plan \*not \*ultimately fuck ? I’m struggling to see a single upside here. ---
