Republicans would have fried Obama’s ass (or Hillary’s) for being anywhere near this sort of stuff. But SOP for the Republicans now is Party over Patriotism. All I have to say to them is: We’re watching. We see that you’re not patriots, you’re just partisans. If any of you have even a shred of integrity left, you should be kicking Trump and his family to the curb about now. ---

I saw a political ad tonight, brand new, with Ed Rollins sternly issuing a call to Trump supporters to… call some number to indicate their unwavering support for Donald Trump, who is the subject of a “witch hunt” by “Hillary Clinton and her supporters such as Robert Mueller,” without “one shred” of evidence. It was one of those sleazy, over-the-top negative ads that cause you to hastily (and usually to no avail) reach for your Mute button. Really awful. I’m sure his supporters were licking their tee vee screens in lieu of Putin’s nut sack. ---
