He doesn’t believe in experts because experts might make him feel stupid. Having ignorance exposed and being challenged once in a while is something that most emotionally healthy leaders don’t mind - they don’t feel threatened by it. Trump does. Trump has to be the smartest guy in the room, or he feels emotionally endangered. What’s frightening is the extent of his psychological frailty and the depths to which he will go in order to preserve that fragile ‘balance’ in his mind. And it usually involves trying to destroy other people around him, as everyone from Trump’s former contractors to Jeff Sessions now realizes. ---

Does it seem to anyone else that the job description of “Communications Director” has expanded some with the new hire? It seems odd that the Mooch is threatening to fire any “leakers” in the WH. That seems like that’s something the CoS would handle. Also seems the Mooch is really taking an interesting approach with the current CoS-- isn’t Reince the guy he answers to? I smell a yuuuge shakeup in the West Wing. Reince will be gone, Mooch will slide in to essentially run the staff and control the message. ---

Has anybody been following Scott Adams? He keeps saying that any minute now the Press will decide that Trump is competent, but they don’t like what he’s doing with his competence. Adams also said that Trump is inches away from total victory. He made a gesture with his hand, palm up then closed it like he was grasping something. He seems like a smart guy, but…he seems determined that Trump is a n-dimensional chess genius whose playing us all for chumps. I love Dilbert. But I keep waiting on the phase Adams says is coming where The Press says that Trump is competent. Do many Trumpco customers think like Adams? …waiting for that one moment when their pet theories are proven correct?
