Boys scouts (and whitehouse) says - never happened. Trump says he spoke to the head of apple, and Tim Cook promised to build 3 plants in USA. But then Trump adds this curious little bit: “You’ll have to call him. I mean, maybe he won’t tell you what he tells me, but I believe he will do that.” So it’s pretty apparent that Trump never spoke to Cook about this. It is clear that what Trump is doing is fantasizing about what he thinks SHOULD have happened. The President of Mexico SHOULD have called him with praise. The leader of the Boy Scouts SHOULD have called his speech the greatest ever. Cook SHOULD have promised to build plants in the USA. Trump has **completely** diverged from reality now, and is living almost entirely in his little ego-driven fantasy world. ---

Keep in mind, Bush’s approval was not that low just because of a few military conflicts, the economy was hitting a bit of a rough patch as well. ---
