It’s SOP to have a portrait of the POTUS du jour in every government office, including every border crossing. I was not looking forward to being subjected to that when we crossed not too long ago (we have to go inside because reasons). Normally, or at least for the past 15 years, there’s been a rather large portrait - easily 18X24 or more - hanging prominently in between state and national flags. I smirked when I saw the pic of 45. Same frame. The picture inside was about 8X10 and could barely be seen across the room. 😃 \*It was also quite noticeable that the border guards, who in previous years acted kinda dickish, were amazingly friendly. Weird. ---

And am I the only one that noticed that they tried to normalized Trump’s hair for the big speech? The color was closer to light brown instead of the usual strawberry blonde. And shorter. Still has the bad combover, though. ---

So he makes a vague speech off the teleprompter. Big deal. Siri could do that. All it was in my view was a distraction from his racist white supremacism being outed as well as a distraction from his hamfisted North Korean bluster as well as a distraction from the investigation into his criminal past and present. ---
