Inviting predictions from Dopers: When Trump visits Corpus Christi, TX today 1. how will he make it all about him, 2. whom will he inadvertently insult, 3. how long will it take him to mention how he carreid Texas yuuuugely, 4. how will he work Hillary’s emails into his remarks? Bonus: look for a picture of Greg Abbott nuzzling Der Trumpnik’s backside. Greg is already seated, so that makes it easy. ---

For some reason, and I know history isn’t on my side on this, I predict he’ll be on message. I think Kelly is making sure Trump knows the gravity of the situation, and that he has teleprompters cued up with very small words written in very large letters. ---

Aw, you guys are no fun. Trump is going to be on the scene of one of the yuuuuge-est natural disasters in recent memory. The last category 4 hurricane to hit Texas was Carla in 1961. What an opportunity to reach into his bag of superlatives! If he stays on message, I will be very surprised (and disappointed). ---

I am certain that he will speak about the magnitude of the storm in admiring tones, almost as though he is proud of it. I think it is really likely that he will brag about his election totals in Texas. I also think that it is really likely that he say something totally inappropriate to the occasion. I think there is no chance that he will stay on message today. I realize that these are not bold or shocking predictions. ---

But he will address point (1) by stating incorrectly that this is the most calamitous humongous disaster to ever strike anyone anywhere, and that his administration under his direction is doing everything superbly. ---
