Trump is abrogating the Iran nuclear treaty in order to help the poor mistreated Iranian citizens. He apparently doesn’t realize Iran is a democracy. Of sorts. ---

How odd. If he had just said, “Ah, he’ll no, it’s just a replica, but I love it anyway,” _no one would begrudge him that_. Instead of a $20 print from a craft shop, he got a skilled artist to make him a replica? OK, great. Enjoy! But to lie about something so trivial and easily disproven just boggles the mind. Does he want people to think he’s like the Marlon Brando character in _The Freshman_, who has the original “Mona Lisa” in his house, and the one in the Louvre is fake? Or did a scammer convince Trump he was buying the real thing, and now Trump can’t or won’t admit he got taken?
