McCain’s legacy will be mixed. On one hand, he was the POW who endured torture. On the other, he came back and dumped his wife because she became partially disabled and overweight after and accident. On one hand, he was able to work with Democrats on some issues. On the other, he loved going on the Sunday talking head shows and trash Obama at every opportunity. He won’t be with us much longer- when he goes the Republican governor will appoint a Republican successor who may give the Republicans the key vote to destroy the ACA that McCain couldn’t bring himself to cast. So I wish for him a pain free exit from the world, but also hope he doesn’t go until after the midterms. ---
