It’s possible to say almost the same thing, but in a really uplifting and ennobling way. Like, we especially honor the valor of those who knowingly put themselves in harm’s way in service of their country. Of course, Trump is too stupid to do that. ---

I feel like the rest of us should do a follow-up call to the families and apologize for Trump’s dickishness. I feel horrible that these families have to deal with this buffoon at this difficult time. I mean, even if they voted for him, they just don’t deserve the clueless and offensive word salad he’s likely dishing out. ---
