In reality, it probably _is_ Roger Stone. My fave theory is Trump will be indicted, as an indictment, er, trumps Trump’s ability to either pardon others or fire Mueller. Have no idea if the assumptions behind this theory is is true (likely not), but here in Earth 2, anything goes. 🙂 ---

It won’t happen that way at all; Trump is going to stop the investigation and start prosecuting his opposition with the backing of GOP fascists. I haven’t had this much fun since that hilarious hide and seek mega-game with several relatives (old and young) at my Mom’s house this past summer… I just installed in my Firefox edition a new app. DeTrumpify. Not only will it replace any mention of the name of the Moldy Prawn Burrito with quasi-random insults, it will also replace any pics of him with those of cute little kittens. Last several mentions of the Impotent Orangutan’s name in this thread also include: Blackening Scab Artfully Hiding in Your Raisin Bran Mangled Apricot Hellbeast Unconvincing Presidential Simulation Xenophobic Sweet PotatoEpic Fart that Just Won’t Dissipate Dorito Mussolini Strongly recommended for those tired of seeing it all by this point and who just want to salvage what is left of their sanity. ---

People who score low in authoritarianism take the deaths of heads of state in stride; people who score high in it can’t help being flooded by dread and fear–and, inevitably, they try to take comfort in conspiracy theories. Of course conspiracy theories are a way of dealing with uncertainty and fear: the CT view is that nothing happens by chance–chance being a terrifying thing. Instead, everything happens by design. Even if the designer is a person or organization scary in and of itself, at least there’s _someone_ in control (in CT thinking). So, yes: there’s no way that Donald could die without a major freak-out by his millions of authoritarianism-craving fans. ---
