Looks like he’s about as popular as Ford was. Funny thing is you never hear people --even Republicans – talk about what a great president Ford was. It’s amusing that Trump thinks it’s going to be any different for him. Even Nixon had him beat until well into 1973 after the Pentagon Papers and Watergate brought him down. Trump hasn’t even had a major scandal, yet. Just the hint of one on the horizon. ---

Why isn’t failing to staff your government a major scandal? Why aren’t his proclamations against freedom of speech and freedom of the press major scandals? Why isn’t putting his unqualified and unelected family members in positions of power a major scandal. Your asshole of a president needs to be ridden out on a rail like the friend of the little man that he is. ---

Agreed. It should be, but I can’t explain why it isn’t. It’s frightening to think that Trump is normalizing that behavior by virtue of the fact that there are so many things to be appalled about, it’s getting more difficult to be appalled by the less appalling things that would have been unthinkable in a previous administration. He’s just so brazenly inept and unapologetically self-serving, I don’t think the public at large and the media knows quite what to do with it. 😕 ---
