The rumors that Hamilton had black ancestry were based on the possibility that James Hamilton, who lived with but wasn’t married to Hamilton’s mother, was not his real father, and his real father may have been one of their slaves; or that his mother had black ancestry herself. As far as I know, there is no actual evidence for any of this, apart from rumors spread by his enemies. ---

At Trump’s presser today, [he asked a black reporter, April Ryan, the Washington bureau chief for the American Urban Radio Networks, if members of the Congressional Black Caucus were “friends of hers” and asked if she could set up a meeting with the CBC for him.](http://www.politico.com/story/2017/02/trump-congressional-black-caucus-april-ryan-235102?cmpid=sf) At this point I will not be surprised if he starts waggling his dick at the next presser and asks “Any of you ladies wanna nibble?” If that happens, I’ll pretty much be all “Yep, sounds about right.” ---

Let me take a guess … “what do you think the play is about?” That shit? My point was that the play (which I haven’t seen; I’ve only read the synopsis) is about Alexander Hamilton, a signer of the Constitution, and, apparently, is set, partially, during the Constitutional convention. (I know, too many commas; I can’t help it) Second guess: you read Throatwarbler Mangrove’s post and confused it with mine. If that is the case, I can only tell you that Throatwarbller Mangrove is definitely \*\*\*not \*\*\*pronounced “Jack Batty.” ---
