What bugs me about this latest “President says some racist things” storm is that we shouldn’t be the least bit surprised yet people are aghast. He started his campaign with racist comments about Mexico, said a bunch more racist things since then (including the Charlottesville mess in August) and now people are shocked that he is actually a racist? On the other hand, we’ve been so beaten down with shocking things from Trump that him having a possible affair with a porn star is no big deal as long as it was consensual ---

And certainly not something, standing alone, that would disqualify him from holding high office. Unfortunately, there are dozens of things that should disqualify him and have been ignored by 36% of the public and 99% of the Republican office holders. ---

Rachel Maddow JUST reported that the release from the doctor today had his named spelled wrong. So what does that mean? Clearly he didn’t write it himself, but does it mean it was forged or just put into White House-speak without anyone bothering to proof it? You never can tell if it’s intentional evil shit going on or incompetence. ---

Well, Kennedy had Marilyn Monroe, who was also literally a porn star, though 50s style. Try and stop the rich and powerful from getting laid and good luck with that. Me, I don’t much like getting into weiner policing if it can be avoided. Leave that to the Pences of the world until there is a crime or it affects somebody’s job performance. Sorry, shithole-gate is more scandalous IMHO. ---
