Ok - so - if I got this straight, then - the Nematode Administration has resumed receiving renewal applications for individuals eligible for [DACA,](http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/13/politics/daca-resumes-renewals/index.html) but how immediately will That Guy try - somehow, come hell or high water - to roll it back again? Let’s hope there’ll be some actual traction to this [update](https://www.uscis.gov/humanitarian/deferred-action-childhood-arrivals-response-january-2018-preliminary-injunction). ---

I don’t have an alexa but in order for that to work, there would have to be an account associated with the Alexa or at least a credit card, no? Amazon is many things but they are not stupid and there must also be an option for a PIN or passcode as well. So this is the sort of tweet that I come away from thinking only, “Wow, you’re dumber than I thought, and to be honest, that’s kind of a hard target to hit at this point.” ---

And voice purchasing _is_ enabled by default on the Echo. But it’s also very simple to go into the Echo settings (on the web or on the Alexa app) and disable voice purchasing, or set it to require a confirmation code. And of course, the account holder will get an e-mail notice any time a purchase is made through the Echo, with plenty of time available to cancel the order. ---
