Our government has gone beyond dysfunction and gridlock into Banana Republic territory. ---

I don’t know - the Dems have two things they need to get done - CHIP and DACA. If they get 6 years of CHIP on a short extension, then they can use the next one to get DACA. Incrementalism works, and I’m not sure which of the two I’d prioritize. ---

Watch, if either the house or senate flips in 2018 and they push through a CHIP bill, Trump will immediately claim credit for the bill and heap praise on it. :rolleyes: ---
