I do get the feeling like the rats are beginning to leave the ship. Cohn is going to be a big loss for sure, but I suspect that this could be the sign of more to come: McMaster, Kelly, and Tillerson could follow. I also get the sense that Kelly is at the “I really couldn’t give a drop of ant piss” stage anymore, as evidenced by his de facto demotion of Kushner. ---

The way things are going I have this vision of Trump a few weeks from now, stumbling in his bathrobe through the darkened, silent halls of the White House, wondering where everyone went, and tortured by thirst because he doesn’t know where they keep the Diet Cokes. He’s likely to become assistant to the president for trade policy, being the harshest trade hawk.
