I can’t watch here (on vacation in OZ - lousy connection). Are these video games only available in the USA? :rolleyes: Is that the reason most other western countries don’t have monthly mass shootings and 30,000 gun deaths a year?:rolleyes: Is a clip from “Reefer Madness” thrown in just for good measure by Beauregard? Just asking questions - for a friend. ---

Same goes for TV shows and the same applies to video games.… (which fails to) explain how or why this is primarily a US problem. works ok for me…some over the top exploding bodies etc. I have mixed feelings on the whole issue of censorship versus desensitivation to violence… ---

I posted this on page 5 (#245) of this thread back in December of 2016. I tried to post something like a left wing version of a far out Breibart article. Some posters were like this is just so preposterously over the top. _Russian mobsters_, please! Now, it almost seems like it’s not that far off. I like how Fallout 4’s clip includes a guy having to shoot a dude like half a dozen times with a desert eagle before the mob falls over. I also can’t help laughing about how the clips don’t include any of the really nutty Japanese rape simulators. The rest of the world plays games that would make Donald’s hair flee the room, but somehow, it’s only America that’s awash in mass shootings. Go figure. It is a mystery. ---

Oh, and reading the comments on [Penny Arcade’s comic](https://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2018/03/09/)about this video game meeting - I’m reminded that Donald’s younger brother, Robert, sits on the board of Zenimax, which is the owner and publishing arm of Bethesda, which makes \*Doom \*& _Fallout_, and _the Elder Scrolls,_ and _Wolfenstein_ and a bunch of other games you’ve all probably played. I think it is sad that people are attacking this administration’s video game diversion. What are they supposed to do? Thoughtfully examine and study the real reasons behind, and factors involved in enabling gun violence in this country? Why can’t we give them credit for spinning their wheels and making a genuine effort to pretend to address this issue while deflecting attention from a solution? ---
