The Deplorables probably consider it a point in his favor, because he’s such an alpha male or whatever. The Evangelicals simply don’t care as long as he nominates the right judges. Congressional Republicans won’t care as long as they get more tax cuts. Now, if there was video of him actually assaulting someone, really grabbing a woman without consent, then… well, it probably still wouldn’t matter. Enough random Americans and politicians are simply such awful humans that Trump’s support isn’t going down. I always thought I was pretty hard-bitten and cynical, but honestly the past two years have sent my cynicism to a place I never dreamed was possible. Yay! ---
