By number of craft, yes. And by number of fatalities, it flips the other way. And not by a small number. Less than 20 back then across all the accidents vs 67 in the DC crash alone. That’s the difference between several small planes crashes vs one commercial jet. Sure, confirmation bias to a large extent, but in the aftermath of the biggest commercial air accident in years, mass firings in the FAA, among other agencies, makes no sense in several ways. ---

The only thing less popular than Trump, Elon, their policies, and the GOP in general are the Congressional Democrats who are standing their with their thumbs up their butts asking for more money while crowing “We are absolutely powerless to do anything you ask of us” and “I look forward to bipartisan solutions with our friends across the aisle”. Hopefully the party gets its act together before next November. ---

ASMR stands for “autonomous sensory meridian response”. It’s a term used to describe a tingling sensation that some people experience in response to certain sounds, sights, or feelings. I watch a variety of ASMR videos on YouTube. ---

ASMR videos usually feature sounds like gentle whispering, fabric rustling, etc. Things that are specifically designed to trigger the ASMR sensation. People who experience ASMR will watch these videos for the purpose of feeling the pleasurable tingling sensation. The idea behind this is that watching people being deported in chains will produce a pleasurable sensation for the viewer. ---

Let’s just cut through to the heart of it. The White House is suggesting that videos of shackled people as they’re getting put on a plane is meant to sexually arouse. We already knew this but the social media crew over there is run by virginal 20-something dudebro fascists with the maturity of teenagers. A lot of ASMR videos and streamers “just happen” to feature young attractive women, with predictable reactions from virginal 20-something dudebro fascists with the maturity of teenagers. ---
