I’m almost certain that Trump has no idea what it takes to amend the Constitution.

I’m also almost certain that in another four years Trump is going to be in no physical or mental state to continue being president (or do much of anything besides stare into a mirror and drool on himself) even if he could get an amendment through.

Hey, he’s back at it. [The economy’s trashed and it’s not his fault; it’s Biden’s.](https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-says-inflation-back-had-125754154.html) (The link goes to _Yahoo_.)

> President Trump is seeking to distance himself from a [rise in inflation](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/inflation-ticks-3-percent-annual-134335017.html), arguing the uptick had “nothing to do” with his return to the Oval Office.
>
> Trump instead placed the blame on former President Biden in an interview Tuesday, decrying what he characterized as reckless spending during the previous administration.
>
> “Inflation is back. No, think of it: Inflation’s back,” the president told Fox News’s Sean Hannity during an [interview alongside](https://www.yahoo.com/news/4-takeaways-trump-elon-musk-041815286.html) tech billionaire Elon Musk that aired Tuesday night. “And they said, ‘Oh, Trump,’ and I had nothing to do with that.”

Vance is flexing his muscles like a 5 year old trying to protect his daddy. (The link goes to _Yahoo_.)

> Vice President JD Vance issued a stark warning to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Wednesday, cautioning the war-battered leader against “badmouthing” Donald Trump even as the U.S. pushes forward with handing over Ukrainian land to Russia in lopsided peace talks.
>
> “The idea that Zelenskiy is going to change the president’s mind by badmouthing him in public media,” Vance told the [Daily Mail](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14413657/Vice-President-Vance-warns-Zelensky-badmouthing-Trump-public-backfire-Ukrainian-presidents-broadside.html), “Everyone who knows the president will tell you that is an atrocious way to deal with this administration.”

What about children? [Screw them, too is the admin’s mantra.](https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/legal-organizations-told-stop-federally-funded-work-unaccompanied-migr-rcna192828) (The link goes to _NBC News_.)

> The Trump administration has told organizations that provide federally funded legal representation to unaccompanied migrant children to halt the service.
>
> The Interior Department sent a stop-work order to the nonprofit Acacia Center for Justice on Tuesday, cutting off funding for “all activities” under Acacia’s federal contract to provide legal services for unaccompanied migrants younger than 18, according to the text of the letter obtained by NBC News.

The article had this shocking bit of information:

> Under U.S. law, immigrants are not guaranteed a right to free legal representation, as U.S. citizens are if they are accused of crimes.

This is an assertion for which I’d like to see a Supreme Court decision.

[In an effort to show he’s not really a Nazi, Bannon makes…you know.](https://www.yahoo.com/news/bannon-does-own-questionable-salute-020846413.html) (The link goes to _Yahoo_.)

> Former Trump White House adviser [Steve Bannon](https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/steve-bannon/) whipped up Friday’s Conservative Political Action Conference crowd by talking about the possibility of the President Donald Trump staying in office for a third term in 2028—which the Constitution currently prohibits—and concluded his speech by giving a provocative gesture that resembled the [controversial salute](https://www.thedailybeast.com/elon-musk-hit-with-backlash-for-odd-looking-salute-at-post-inauguration-rally/) Elon Musk gave at a post-inauguration rally last month.

So, why do I include it here? Couple the following with Felon47’s talk about a third term.

> “The future of America is MAGA, okay? And the future of MAGA is Donald J. Trump. We want Trump in ’28. That’s what they can’t stand,” Bannon said to cheers while pointing toward the news cameras. “A man like Trump comes along only once or twice in a country‘s history, right?”

> [Kristi Noem](https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/kristi-noem) has ordered Homeland Security staff to take lie detector tests in hopes she can snuff out leakers who have been accused of foiling immigration raids this month.

[And finally yet another maga racist (redundant, isn’t it?) questions the citizenship of a minority person in political office.](https://www.yahoo.com/news/maga-rep-questions-local-elected-160833776.html) (The link goes to _Yahoo_.)

> Rep. [Mike Lawler](https://www.yahoo.com/news/cnn-host-laughs-gop-rep-174959184.html) questioned whether an elected county official in New York is really an American citizen during a public meeting.
>
> José Alvarado, the vice chair of Westchester County’s Board of Legislators, had asked the Republican congressman what documentation he expects people to produce if confronted by [U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement](https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/immigration-and-customs-enforcement) amid President [Donald Trump](https://www.thedailybeast.com/keyword/donald-j-trump)’s attempted crackdown on illegal immigration in the state.

> “I’m speaking to you, Mr. Lawler—somebody that looks like me, right, is approached by ICE. What would your immediate expectation would be for me to do?” Alvarado, the [first Latino county legislator](https://westchesterlegislators.com/29-about-joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=63&Itemid=204) to be elected in Westchester, [asked](https://westchestercountyny.granicus.com/player/clip/7458?view_id=1&redirect=true) Lawler. “What should I carry on me to demonstrate that this immigrant is the vice chairman of this board?”
>
> Lawler answered the Democrat by saying that, in such a scenario, Alvarado should cooperate. He then openly speculated about Alvarado’s citizenship status.
>
> “Like every other person that is engaged by law enforcement, if you are asked for information, cooperate,” Lawler said, before adding: “I wouldn’t expect you as a—I don’t know, I assume you’re a citizen. Maybe you’re not. Maybe you are…”

“Is the Maine here?” And then he threatens to stop all federal funding to Maine if the governor does not do what he orders her and the state legislature to do. It seems like he said _comply_ about a dozen times.

Her response was great. “See you in court.” And felon47 goes off on her saying how well he did in Maine in the last election. [And just how well did he do there?](https://www.archives.gov/electoral-college/2024) (The link goes to the National Archives.)

Maine cast 3 electoral votes for Harris and one for the felon.

I don’t know how one mines or obtains rare earth minerals. I doubt Blood Diamond Musk does either. They are rare so likely not scattered around to be raked up.

There is no fucking way Trump made a “deal” to get them from Ukraine. All he likely did was “deal & arrange” with Putin not to bomb the areas the US was going to be mining/bulldozing/chainsawing stuff at will.

> United States President Donald Trump has [continued his attacks](https://www.aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/2025/2/21/trump-live-news-us-envoy-calls-ukraines-zelenskyy-a-courageous-leader) on Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, as a White House official said a deal on rare earth minerals was close.

This is even better than annexing (or promising to pay Denmark at a date to be determined) for Greenland and their rare earth minerals.

The EU has to stop this bullshit. Keir is going to the USA to pay Trump his deserved tribute next Thursday and I reckon I’ll start a spin-off clusterfuck thread over that. Right now my attitude is if Keir had any self-respect or felt he was the Prime Minister of a Nation that is fucking shocked (for the most part - let’s be real) at Trump’s antics - he’d not be going.
