Trump also said “this was supposed to be over very quickly but you guys fought so bravely” - it sounds like he was all in with Putin! Vance saying “you’ve not said thank you once”. Zelensky said thank you from the same seat literally a few minutes before in that press conference! Poor Zelensky looked so upset and stressed at the end of what was basically a completely unjustified public shaming. Zelensky may feel he has to step aside just so someone with no history with Trump can take over. But Putin would love that. ---

There is nothing at all in this for Ukraine. Zelensky being shouted at by Trump and double-teamed with Vance is a disgrace to the USA. I don’t know who Zelensky can call up and get advice from, yet I’d tell him, “Dude - GTFO and I’ll pay for your cab to Dulles.” Hell, he may still end up in a black ops spot in a few hours. I really now think he/his family have been threatened by USA special Ops. Winston Churchill would have in no uncertain terms told Trump he may fuck right the hell off. ETA: Some Fox/Murdoch asshole reporter told - **I mean told** - Zelensky his clothing was disrespectful. I think Zelensky said he’d wear a suit later. ---

I’m not watching, but I assume that this is almost some sort of kangaroo court in which Zelensky is the “guilty bastard”. Is that correct? ---

The BBC are replaying the press conference in full and I can’t bring myself to watch it again, it was that bad. I also noticed the brown-nosed fawning questions from the right wing media. One of which was asking Trump where he got his moral courage from. I’m sorry to say the US has become a failed democracy. ---

I’m about half-way through this 11min video of the ‘conference’ ([**from FOXNews**](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9gy9wr7Ucw&t=234s)) and I literally have tears in my eyes. Kicking the woman who’s being raped, grabbing her purse, calling her a s\*\*\*, and then driving off in her car. A new bottom … but we’re not done yet. ---
