Certainly Trump knows nothing about Scotland or its history, though his mother was born there, other than they also take zero shit from the slumlord who only cares about his golf course. He used to live in NYC. Does he know this Monday, March 17, there is a parade on Fifth Avenue that’s been going on for 263 years? Harry S. Truman (1948) and Bill Clinton (2000), neither of which are/were even as remotely Irish as Biden, marched in the parade? There’s something else in common with them and Chuck Schumer, Moynihan, RFK, Al Smith (besides the latter three were of rather close Irish descent and none of them were Palestinians). (also my Mom knows the Grand Marshall this year, both being from Limerick) ---

I read through some of the irish online news. Couldn’t really find in what context Trump went off on Democrats esp. Schumer the Palestinian. I didn’t know he owned a golf course in Ireland too. If he doesn’t like a law he can make up one he likes. The loud silence of his (nominal) party will not (CYA) challenge it, and as I understand it, a bond has to be put up to challenge stuff - even what looks like clear 1st amendment “does not like”. He (and the republicans) in Congress deserve to be lectured/badgered/admonished by SCOTUS for “plenary” (just like that word) crap that ought not be clogging the courts, esp. theirs. ---
