I’m okay with honoring Babe Ruth - can there ever be another great pitcher and home run hitter in baseball again? Oh wait, Ohtani. Do these arrested development cases think people actually believe that? I mean, sure if Lil Kim asked me if I believed him, and an anti aircraft gun was conveniently standing by, sure I’d say I believe him. That’s not the question. When trump says his handicap is 37 or whatever, does he actually believe that people accept that as fact? because that’s mind boggling. I can’t understand people like that. ---

FISA itself dates to 1978, as J. Edgar Hoover was no longer alive and running the FBI and doing whatever wiretapping or surveillance he wished. It was a post-watergate oversight thing as well, though there was no return of taping Oval Office conversations till Musk’s son planted some bugs there a couple weeks ago. It was a way of getting a “secret” warrant so as few people knew. The FBI and a judge. That was not enough for Bush & Cheney, who conducted warrantless wiretaps on Americans under the NSA’s Terrorist Surveillance Program, bypassing those pesky FISA court approvals. FISA itself, with each renewal, has become more like what the NSA did because reasons (Terror!) and excused by “If you’re not a criminal or terrorist, trust the government.” Trump likely looked out the window of one of his tower slums, noticed a “Flowers By Irene” van with a satellite dish on top, wondered aloud if whatever illegal thing he was doing at the time was being surveilled and the van drove away only to have another van, “Fast Broadband Internet” drive up but he didn’t know what the last two words meant so he went on doing his Rockefeller level but illegal business dealings. ---
