This is straight out of Project 2025. Which means it’s arguable whether Trump ordered it or if he just blindly signed something Stephen Miller put in front of him, as usual, in between tiny-fingered stabs at the Coke button. (I’m not trying to be pedantic. I think it’s meaningful to keep in mind that Trump himself barely knows what’s going on from minute to minute and his administration’s worst initiatives are being largely generated by the Nazi troglodytes in the shadows behind him.) ---

No surprise that those on the losing side of an attempt to overthrow the nation’s government in the 1860’s are overwhelmingly still supporting the only President in the modern era who also tried to overthrow the nation’s legitimate government. Aside from the delicious irony of the flag-waving jingoists truly being the ones who hate their country, there’s also the inarguable fact that they cannot help but back losers. And I’d like to congratulate myself publicly for managing to avoid the entire out, loud, and proud _racist_ element inherent in all of this. ---

Nah, they know or at least think it’s “those” people (brown mostly) whose kids will be forced to work overnights for below minimum wage. Not their own. Or if it is their own, they weren’t the sort to care what the law said and had them work off the books anyway. It’s the standard MO. They think their faces won’t be eaten and then later, they make excuses for the Leopards while their own are being digested. ---
