As I (kindasorta) referred to in another thread, one key to getting it done fast would be to forego testing the output from the new system — created, no doubt, by pushing code generated by AI.X straight to production — against the current output. I mean, they’re different systems, so you can’t expect the same results, amirite? ---

And don’t bother to examine or try to remediate the (doubtless innumerable) kludges, hacks and workarounds that have crept into the existing code over the decades. Just have AI.X read the COBOL and do a line-for-line translation to Python or whatever. What could go wrong? ---
