It’s two guys who have never done any actual work in their life. And for whom it’s all about appearances and power (and the appearance of power). They’re rather be surrounded by 1000 people doing nothing but looking busy while they oversee them as godlike beings from above. Better that than having 10 effective employees out of sight where they can’t be seen being “leaders” ---

If your manager wants to call you at home during working hours, let them. Micro managers want POWER. They are finding out that they are not needed. We don’t have managers so much anymore as we have leads. Team lead. They get to go to all the meetings 🤣 and disseminate info. For the managers, it’s also projection. They couldn’t do it, can’t be trusted, so no one else can be either. I worked Saturday and Sunday fixing some stuff. My work understands. And I just adjust my hours for the week. ---

The sad thing about this is that’s quite likely more than a few Trump voters are actually asking now.
