SNL did a skit last week which entailed Trump signing dozens of ridiculous\* Executive Orders, one of which banned interracial couples in TV commercials. \*I mean, they could scarcely be more ridiculous than his actual ones. Perhaps “comical” is a better word. Then again… ---

Oh, heck, I remember when companies started making commercials with black people in them, in the 1980s. Some people were up in arms about that, too. In 1985, I visited some relatives in Arizona, and remember a McDonald’s commercial that was in Spanish, with all Hispanic actors. ---

Trump has instructed his DOJ to look into securing the release of Tina Peters, a former Colorado elections clerk who is serving 9 years for election machine-related tampering.
