I said “realistic.” That means the sophisticated knowhow to penetrate one of the tightest security bubbles in the world, and that comes only from a nation-state. Edit to add: also, it’s a cultural misinterpretation to believe a fatwa is simply a call for death. That’s not what it means, though crazies may hear it that way. ---

1. He knows that even if he succeeds - and even if Trump is somehow replaced by a Democrat - the U.S. government will still hunt him down and imprison or kill him on general principles. No country can ever allow a presidential assassin to walk free, no matter what. It sets a precedent. ---

And of course Trump has said he might pardon Diddy Combs. In unsurprising news, Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” has already experienced flooding due to a relatively minor rainfall.
